Week 12, Day 82 - Back!

Well, I'm back, and healing up (story here), and was able to get over to the house and take some pics of the tons of progress since I left on the trip.

The plumbing is in, the major ductwork is in, the low-voltage lighting is in, the vents are in, the electrical is in, and the drywall has started being put in. They are also putting the siding on! On to the pics!

What a lovely package altogether: the setting, the house, the neighbors, the family, hopefully a greenhouse soon... hint hint hint. :) I am so excited for you guys to get all done and moved in! I LOVE a new house! :)

Our "Scrapbook"

I've never been proficient at scrapbooking, but I wanted a way of capturing the building of our new home. A blog is the perfect way for two "techies" to accomplish the artistry of capturing memories.

We moved from the Midwest to the East Coast in October 2008. We found our building site in November 2008, and broke ground in October 2009.

Henceforth, The Building of Blackthorn Ridge.
